This is my 4th year in a technology leadership role in education. I taught English 5 years before that. I have my MS in information systems and so I'm lucky in that I can turn my job into a series of problems I get to fix.

What I love doing is creating systems that help teachers do their jobs better. Coming from the classroom I always resented edicts that caused me more greif and had little benefit. My goal is to give teachers tools that help them make teaching easier and perhaps even fun.

I've most recently stepped into cyber security. Most of our users are too young to understand the implications of data security so it's our job to keep their stuff safe.
